There are plenty of ways to grow at Barron. The opportunities are endless when it comes to advancement. That’s why so many of our employees have been with us for so long. We provide on-the-job training and send many workers to outside training programs, allowing them to further advance. In 2019, we had 29 new hires and had 23 of our current employees receive new training certifications in CNC, robotics and casting. This is just one of the reasons we’re able to say that providing long-term employment is our specialty.

History

Since 1923

For almost a century, we’ve been a superior solutions provider for the casting industry. Sixty years after our founding in 1923, our company began operating as BarronCast, Inc. in Oxford, Michigan, which expanded into the Barron Industries you know today. We’re proud to be one of the first investment casting companies to receive AS9100 Certification. It’s through our dedicated solutions and our commitment to our employees and the community that we’re able to serve our clients for such an extended period of time.

Our founder, Joseph H. Barron, started Motor and Machinery Castings in Detroit, where he personally delivered parts to Henry Ford. To this day, we remain a Tier 1 supplier to Ford, and many other automotive manufacturers, and value our long-standing relationship to such titans of industry. Through this relationship, we’ve been able to grow and expand our services to become the company we are today. We work with many Fortune 500 companies, such as Ford, and are proud of our involvement in the everyday lives of people.
